Magnolia LNG, LLC - FE Dkt. No. 13-131-LNG (FTA)

The Office of Fossil Energy gives notice of receipt of an application filed on October 15, 2013, by Magnolia LNG, LLC requesting long-term authorization to export domestically produced liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the proposed Magnolia LNG Terminal to be located near Lake Charles, Louisiana.  Magnolia LNG seeks to export LNG to any nation with which the United States currently has, or in the future will have, a Free Trade Agreement requiring national treatment for trade in natural gas, and which has or in the future develops the capacity to import LNG via ocean-going carrier.  Magnolia LNG requests authorization to export LNG in an amount up to 0.54 billion cubic feet of natural gas per day (approximately 210 trillion Btu per annum), or approximately 4 million metric tons per annum of domestically produced LNG over a 25-year period commencing on the earlier of the date of first export or ten years from the date the requested authorization is granted.  Magnolia LNG requests to export LNG on its own behalf and as agent for others.
