The Office of Fossil Energy gives notice of receipt of an application filed on May 7, 2012,
by SB Power Solutions Inc. (SPS), requesting long-term authorization to export up to a total of 550,000 metric tons (approximately 26.8 Bcf of natural gas per year) of domestically produced and previously imported LNG over a twenty-five year period commencing the earlier of the date of first export or five years from the date the requested authorization is granted. The LNG would be exported from the Atlantic coast to the Gulf Coast, including Texas and Florida, to any country located within South America, Central America or the Caribbean, which has or in the future develops the capacity to import LNG via ocean-going carriers (by use of approved ISO IM07/TVAC-ASME LNG containers transported on ocean-going carriers), and with which the United States currently has, or in the future will have, a Free Trade Agreement.
