The Office of Fossil Energy gives notice of receipt of an Application filed February 28, 2012, by Cambridge Energy, LLC (Cambridge), seeking a long-term multi-contract authorization to export previously imported or domestically produced liquefied natural gas (LNG) up to the equivalent of 0.038 billion cubic feet of natural gas per year to Free Trade Agreement (FTA) countries. Authorization is for a 25-year period commencing on the earlier of the date of first export or five years from the date the authorization is issued. Cambridge proposes to export LNG from the Atlantic Southeast, Florida, and the Gulf Coast, including Texas, to any country located within South America, Central America, Asia-Pacific or the Caribbean that has, or in the future will have, the capacity to import LNG via ocean-going carrier, either directly or by use of approved ISO containers transported on ocean-going carriers, with which the United States has, or in the future enters into, an FTA requiring national treatment for trade in natural gas, and which has, or in the future develops, the capacity to import LNG via ocean going carrier. A federal register notice will not be issued. Application withdrawn 9/21/2012.
