The Office of Fossil Energy gives notice of receipt of an application filed on September 22, 2011, by Jordan Cove Energy Project, L.P. (JCEP)  JCEP seeks authorization to export LNG from the proposed Jordan Cove LNG Terminal in Coos Bay, Oregon, to any nation that currently has or that develops the capacity to import LNG via ocean-going carrier and with which the United States currently has, or in the future may enter into, a Free Trade Agreement requiring national treatment for trade in natural gas. JCEP seeks this authorization for a 30-year period commencing on the earlier of the date of first export or the date ten years from the date the requested authorization is granted.
