ConocoPhillips Alaska Natural Gas Corporation and Marathon Oil Company Application to Export LNG (FE Dkt. No. 10-63-LNG)

The Office of Fossil Energy gives notice of receipt of an application filed June 8, 2010 jointly by ConocoPhillips Alaska Natural Gas Corporation (CPANGC) and Marathon Oil Company (Marathon). CPANGC and Marathon seek authorization to export LNG from facilities located near Kenai, Alaska to Japan and/or one or more other countries globally with which trading is not prohibited by U.S. law for a two year period commencing April 1, 2011 and extended through March 31, 2013. A Federal Register Notice was published on July 1, 2010, (75 FR 38093). Comments and motions were due August 2, 2010. Nine comments, and one comment out-of- time were received. Order 2860 granting blanket authorization to export LNG from Alaska issued October 5, 2010. CPANGC will be the only party using the export authorization issued in this docket effective 8/2/11.
