Location of Facilities Used to Import or Export Natural Gas

Listed below are the locations on the United States international border where natural gas imports and exports occur.

  • The first section lists all of the entry/exit points between the United States and Canada. The locations are listed geographically from West to East and includes cities on both sides of the border where the pipelines are located.
  • The second section lists all of the entry or exit points on the United States/Mexican border in a similar fashion.
  • The third section lists the 4 LNG receiving terminals and their location, as well as the LNG liquefaction and exporting terminal located in Alaska. In view of the fact that some of the cities have more than one pipeline located near it, such as Sumas, Washington, the name or owner of each pipeline is also listed.
